I saw this at Sci-Fi Dine In at Hollywood Studios Right before Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster (or least a condensed version of the trailer) had played.
A regular prism will produce the same effect as a dove prism is basically a regular prism elongated. next you just need to figure out the correct projector lens to be place before or after the prism. as light enters the prism it bends down towards the reflected floor of the prism and then reflected back up at equal incident angle and bends back to a straight line as it exits the prism. Light takes a detour, but ends up back on its path and leaving you with this inverted/twisted effect.
Think this Drive-In ad was made by Clokey. Also, that piece of stock music was used at the end of the 1955 unaired Gumby pilot. I'd like to know the name of it.
Nice to see that someone else dropped the $1500 for the CCD transfer camera. I became obsessed with the TP-66 in 2003 and bought several covering two different body styles. Love the popping and clicking of the solenoid switches and it's easy to imagine a TV station with several set-up's connected to a control booth.
0:18 *ROAR!!*
0:11 Show starts in 1 minute.
I remember seeing this on the old PBS show “Matinee at the Bijou”.📽
A few Coca-Cola intermissions were made in 1958.
The music was used at the end of the Gumby episode “In a Fix” (1960).
did someone run this film thru a meat grinder? there's so many scratches
no, we only clean with top grade 80 grit sandpaper
Love these. Thank you.
Nice parade of 1950s automobiles.

Very nice bumper. I am always happy when it comes on.
My all-time favorite Toddy advert.
Boxes and boxes...
lol goddamn that's so cool I didn't think that was possible
So where exactly you put the prism? position?? I mean how that worked,

No subliminal messages here ! Proves that the conspiracy one was fake.
If someone like SADF remastered this, and made the screen green which transitioned to the green MPAA tag, it’d be like AMC, but retroized.

why doesn't it switch all the way?
+Alexis Mendoza because it is pure garbage. It was brand new, and never opened properly because of the weak spring.
the locking pin could be to big for the lock
This is from "The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat" from 1974.
+Howard Parks Took me a while to figure it out, then I saw your comment and knew it!
The drive-in I go to every now and then (it's 60 miles away so only go about 3 times a year) plays this between the two features.
